Celebrate Salford’s new pedestrian and cycle routes with a free day of family fun. From 1pm-5pm there’ll be a bunch of bike-themed activities so you can make full use of the new cycle tracks, whether that’s building your confidence with a guided bike ride, getting your bike fixed for free or learning how to do it yourself. If you’re not a cyclist there’s still a packed programme of workshops and activities for the whole family including a dance fitness workshop, line dancing, a roller disco, puppy portraits and an upcycling and sustainability market. Plus there’ll be pop up performances from Dhol Drummers, The Flat Iron Choir and Manchester School of Samba plus live sets from three local sets after the main event is over. Set to be a great celebration of Salford’s community and spirit, there’s something for everyone.
