It’s that time again. Manchester’s famous Christmas Markets return on Friday 8 November, with hundreds of festive stalls taking over the city centre for six weeks. Now in its 26th year, the Christmas markets continue to attract thousands of visitors every year for Christmas shopping, a mug of something warming and a bratwurst or two. There are over 200 stalls popping up across nine sites in the city centre, with the iconic wooden chalet markets appearing at King Street West, St Ann’s Square, Exchange Street, New Cathedral Street, Exchange Square, Corn Exchange, Cathedral Gardens, Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens. Craft stalls and those selling seasonal goods will be open daily from 10am to 8pm, whilst food and drink stalls will be open from 11am to 9pm.
