It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and the streets of Manchester will once again be taken over by the magnificent Christmas Parade. With over 400 participants, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring mistletoe dancing mice, elves on stilts, an oversized polar bear, airborne puppetry and more.
The highlights of this year’s parade will include Manchester’s very own Elf Express – a spectacular train with carriages full of elves and the return of the enchanting Snow Queen.
Taking place on Sunday 8 December, the free family-friendly event will start and finish at Manchester Cathedral. It will pass through Victoria Street, Deansgate, John Dalton Street, Cross Street, Market Street, St Mary’s Gate and then back through Deansgate and Victoria Street.
