The humble oyster is getting its own festival as the brilliantly handsome Manchester Craft & Design Centre transforms into a one-night celebration of shellfish and street culture. Expect shucking competitions, creative oyster dishes from local restaurants, indie food traders, a bar pouring champagne, rosé and Guinness (and hopefully a Black Velvet for those partial), live music, DJ sets, and even limited-edition oyster merch made with Manchester artists. Sounds ace.
