Manchester tapas restaurant and bar Maricarmen is bringing one of Madrid’s most well-loved traditional celebrations to the city as they celebrate Fiesta de la Paloma. They’re flying over a traditional street performer, Amador de la Rosa, from Alicante to lead two days of live music and street festival celebrations and will be serving up specials including traditional Spanish sweets and casita lemonade. To top it off they’ll also have an iconic street-food of Madrid, on offer, Bocadillo de calamar, a crusty bread roll with crispy deep-fried squid and aioli inside. Between 12 and 6 Monday to Friday you can get it with a pint for just £10. Yes please.
