The marvellous Erst is launching a new monthly Sunday series built around one-off menus that champion the best produce of the moment. It will be kicking off with a spring-led spread of flatbread with schmaltz, bang in-season Jersey Royals with vinaigrette, grilled asparagus, white pudding, chicken terrine and (perhaps the main event) Packington chicken with vin jaune sauce. For pudding, it’s a chocolate sorbet, or an old school strawberry jelly and ice cream. The menu will be changing monthly according to what’s good.
