NYE at Chotto Matte & Claude’s: Skyline fireworks and Nikkei feasting

Chotto Matte and its sky-high sister bar Claude’s are marking their first Manchester New Year’s Eve with a full-building takeover — DJs, immersive entertainment, Champagne, and some of the clearest views of the city’s midnight fireworks.

Downstairs, the Early Dining Experience (12–7pm) is ideal if you want to ease in before the chaos. You can go à la carte or take the £165 set menu, which includes a glass of Pommery Brut Champagne.

From 7pm, the atmosphere shifts up a gear for the Premium Dining Experience. Expect an NYE-exclusive set menu (£165pp), Champagne on arrival, live DJs, roaming performers and a party that runs long into the night. Pre-booking with an additional £85pp minimum drink spend secures your table until 3am.

For late arrivals, the Bar & Lounge Experience (10pm–3am) brings a high-energy countdown with DJs, entertainment and bottle service. A bottle purchase is required for table reservations.

Upstairs, Claude’s Skyview Bar — Chotto Matte’s dedicated tequila and mezcal bar — hosts two separate celebrations with the city skyline as the backdrop. The Premium Bar Experience (£200pp minimum spend) includes bottle service, canapés available to order, DJs and the best views of Manchester’s fireworks. The standing Bar Experience (£125pp) offers two premium cocktails plus a glass of Champagne, alongside DJ sets and a packed dancefloor that runs through to 3am.
