Inspired by Manchester’s modernist architecture and everyday life, Armaghan Butt opens a new exhibition at The Modernist. During Butt’s six-month collaboration with The Modernist he worked on an Architectural City Guide to Manchester, creating fine line drawings of his favourite buildings in his detailed, observational style, now he exhibits the work at The Modernist. Featuring lots of city favourites, Armaghan combines text, digital illustration and printmaking in this ode to the architecture of the city, memory, observation and imagination.
