Freight Island is teaming up with Ornella’s Little Kitchen for a new weekly brunch. It pairs 90 minutes of bottomless Italian beer, Prosecco or Aperol Spritz with Ornella’s expertly crafted small plates, and some Pollen Bakery favourites. Expect a guanciale and fried egg potato bun, roasted tomato bruschetta with whipped lemon ricotta, truffle and porcini arancini with creamy Parmesan sauce, and classic desserts like cannoli, Nutella cheesecake and tiramisu, capped with a house limoncello. There’s also a new Autumn menu featuring an overstuffed Americano ciabatta, an Italian cured meat platter, and two warming pappardelle dishes, including slow-cooked beef brisket ragù.
