Owt On Stage at Band On The Wall

Band On The Wall hosts Owt On Stage, a monthly open stage event where all are welcome to perform poetry, spoken word, drama, comedy, dance, music and more. Organised by Key Changes and Creative Support, the event celebrates diversity and encourages people of all background to exercise their voice, in whatever medium they choose.

‘Traditionally the Tib Street district, now know as the Northern Quarter, was an area inhabited by those on the edge of society. It has a long history and, before gentrification, a strong sense of community to those who frequented it’s pet shops by day and services by night. We want to celebrate that diversity again by holding a monthly open stage event for anyone who prizes their individuality and access to a safe, daytime space.’
