This December, The Met – Bury’s historic theatre- brings you Rumplestiltskin, the third in-house pantomime produced with panto professionals The Big Tiny Production Company.

Now a firm date on Bury’s Christmas calendar, last year’s panto was an outstanding success and this year The Met is delighted to be working with the producers of Dick Whittington and Aladdin, bringing their new story of magic, mayhem and above all, true love.

Deep in the forest in the foothills of the Alps lies the Bavarian town of Lieblingsberg, the town where everyone falls in love. Only they don’t… at least nobody has since Cupid nipped out to the shops twenty years ago.

Rumplestiltskin is written and directed by The Big Tiny’s Ben Richards who directed last year’s production of Aladdin. Ben has written and directed plays up and down the country, on national tour, in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe.
