SEE MY WORLD launches this year’s programme with HOMAGE, a dance production and showcase from acclaimed choreographers Joe Price and Kieron Simms. Taking place on Thursday 16 October at Contact, the performance pays tribute to the African and Caribbean-inspired dance heritage that has shaped Manchester across three generations.
Expect a living archive in motion – blending dance, film, live narration, and poetry to honour the city’s pioneers while spotlighting future trailblazers. Collaborations with 0161 Dance Company, Home of the New Wave, The Ash Company, and KXT Dance add to an unforgettable evening that archives Manchester’s story through rhythm, movement and memory.
An exploration of history and a glimpse of what’s to come, HOMAGE is both a celebration and a call forward for the city’s dance community.
