On Saturday 18 October, SEE MY WORLD gathers communities at Manchester Metropolitan University for the PAC 80th Anniversary – a roundtable discussion and networking event marking eight decades since the Fifth Pan-African Congress took place in the city.
The day reflects on Manchester’s role in global liberation movements while looking forward to what liberation, self-realisation, and cultural leadership mean today. Pan-African-led and global majority groups from across the North West will come together to share strategies, build solidarity, and connect over food, art, and conversation.
More than a commemoration, this is a chance to break bread, reason, and create collective action in honour of a movement that continues to inspire.
