Join the folk at Platt Fields Market Garden as they celebrate this year’s garden harvest through the Indonesian tradition of Selamatan, giving thanks to the growing season. The special harvest dinner will be lead by seasoned MUD volunteer Batara Indra Soepraba (aka Mister Obat). Obat’s experience in the kitchen began in Los Angeles with his late mother, a respected culinary figure in the LA Indonesian community. Since then, he has cooked in cafes in the San Francisco Bay Area and Manchester.
