HOME continue their Sirkian Sundays series this weekend, with a screening of Fear Eats The Soul. Showcasing some of their favourites from esteemed German film director Douglas Sirk, this Sunday’s edition will feature the early 1970s classic by director Rainer Werner Fassbinder, which was a homage to a number of Sirk’s films, including Imitation of Life from 1959 and 1955’s All That Heaven Allows . The screening will be introduced by Andy Willis, Professor of Film Studies at University of Salford and Senior Visiting Curator: Film at HOME.
