Snapchat is getting students out of the pub and onto the pavements this Freshers’ Week, as new research reveals that nearly two-thirds of first years would rather connect over shared interests than a big night out. To help them do just that, Snapchat has launched Snap Run Stars – a brand new student run club led by running influencer Savannah Sachdev. The focus? Less about chasing PBs, more about finding your people. The Manchester edition takes over Mayfield Park on Thursday 9 October, with a free 5k run open to all students. Expect good vibes, easy pace, and plenty of chances to make new mates along the way. Savannah will be leading the route, sharing tips and stories, and there’ll be free Snapchat goodies waiting at the finish line.
