Footsie and Strategy — two stalwarts of the UK underground — are linking up for a special live launch of their new joint album Theatre of Dreams at Ramona this Wednesday.
Built from a shared love of sound system culture and Manchester United, the album brings together Footsie’s East London roots with Strategy’s distinct Salford style. With production from Toddla T, Sir Spyro, Metrodome and more, the record spans grime, dub, hip hop and beyond.
For this Ramona Radio Rave session, they’ll be performing the album live for the first time, before diving into solo sets — Strategy with a multi-genre DJ set in the spirit of his own Ballin’ on a Budget nights, and Footsie spinning a King Original reggae set using vinyl from his dad’s personal collection.
