The Cure, one of the most influential alternative bands of all time, have announced four headline shows for summer 2026, including a date at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park. Playing their first show in 1978, The Cure have performed close to 1,800 gigs to date over a career spanning almost five decades, and seminal albums like Disintegration, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and Wish. 2025 saw the release of Mixes Of A Lost World, a triple album reimagining the hugely successful 2024 Cure album Songs of a Lost World. Supporting them at this huge Manchester show will be shoegaze legends Slowdive.
