Manchester’s first-ever drag queen drag race takes place at Chaos Karts ahead of Manchester Pride. Taking place on Wednesday 20 August, British drag stars Kyran Thrax, Sopia Stardust, Yshee Black, Bid Dee and more will take to the race course. Those in attendance can expect lashes, latex and HOT lap times as the UK’s top drag talent battles it out to be crowned Queen of The Glam Prix 2025 and pick up the first ever Glam Prix world champion trophy.
The races will be followed by live sets from some of the city’s top queer DJs, including special appearance from Gaydio. The race is being held in partnership with The Proud Trust, a Manchester-based LGBTQ+ youth charity, with funds raised through Pride-themed imagery and in-venue activities throughout August going directly towards supporting queer young people across the UK.
