Stylish cocktail bar Side Street is teaming up with The Read Room to present an elevated book club experience, launching this month. Taking place on Monday 22 April, the monthly series will blend literature, culture and nightlife for a unique take on the traditional book club.
Described as a ‘reverse book club’, each event begins with an excerpt reading from the featured title – often unreleased – by the author themselves. Guests are then welcomed into the main bar for drinks, discussion, music, and the opportunity to connect and mingle in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting. Attendees will then receive a signed copy of the book to take home, along with a curated goodie bag.
