Stockport’s Spectacular Sunday is back for its third year, transforming the town centre into a winter wonderland bursting with music, colour and Christmas cheer. Taking place on Sunday 16 November 2025, the much-loved event promises a day packed with live performances, roaming acts and festive surprises for all ages.
Across Merseyway Shopping Centre, Suffragette Square, The Underbanks, Market Place, Redrock and Warren Street, visitors can expect over 50 free shows and more than 200 performers bringing the streets to life.
From stilt-walking Christmas Belles and cheeky comedy chefs to bouncing snowmen, cocky robins and a giant carnival bee, the line-up blends playful street theatre with dazzling costumes and interactive entertainment.
The festivities run from 12pm to 5pm, creating a full afternoon of free family fun throughout the town centre. Expect music on every corner, magical walkabouts and plenty of photo-worthy moments as Stockport officially kicks off the festive season in style.
