Manchester welcomes the UEFA Futsal Champions League this month as top teams from across the continent battle it out in the preliminary rounds of the competition. Similar to five-a-side football, Futsal is played indoors on a hard court, similar to basketball. The league first started in 2001, with last year’s winners Palma Futsal looking to retain their title. Watch teams include Manchester’s very own Manchester Futsal Club compete from 22 to 25 August.
