Urmston’s very own indie Food and Drink Festival returns on Saturday 21 June. Following the success of last year’s debut, the festival is back for its second serving, once again transforming the M41 site on Railway Road into a buzzing hub of flavour, fun, and local pride.
Led by the Love Urmston volunteer team, the event will be hosted by local resident and food and drink presenter Matty White, and will bring together top local street food vendors, artisan producers, and drink retailers, alongside live cooking demos, family activities, and entertainment.
This year, local independent businesses at the event include English Rose Bakery, Flour & Soul, Cof Cof Coffee, Inforno Pizzeria, Sai Surbhi, Dan’s Cookies, Banga Curries and loads more.
Fred Davids, Chair of the Love Urmston committee, said: “Bringing YUM! Food & Drink Fest back for a second year is incredibly exciting. It’s a brilliant way to celebrate what makes Urmston special — its community and fantastic food and drink scene; welcoming people from near and far to experience the town at its best.
