The ultimate celebration of the humble chicken wing arrives in Manchester this month. Wing Fest celebrates its tenth anniversary, paying homage to one of the world’s – quite understandably – favourite snacks. This year the festival will take place at brand-new location the Victoria Baths from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September.
The festival will continue to champion independents from across the UK, who will display their culinary talents and compete against each other, with over a whopping 100,000 drums and flats. All of which are hoping to be awarded the accolades of Best Buffalo Wing, Best Wild Wing and the Best BBQ Wing. Expect profound poultry eating, music thumping, axe throwing, beer and bourbon drinking. Heaven on earth, basically.
