As I’m sure our regular readers will know, there is a very strong link between Britain and India, a link that transcends culture, sport, language and most importantly – food.
As a result, Asha’s have skilfully paired dishes from their stunning new Indian Summer Menu with a range of British wines, all presented by Liberty Wines expert Jeremy Cowan.
Taking place on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June, The Best of British Menu will present 5 stunning courses with 4 perfectly paired wines for only £30 per person.
The new Summer Menu aims to dispel the idea of Indian food not being suitable for the hotter months by providing a fresher, lighter approach to dishes while still keeping that traditional Indian touch.
Creations such as the Monkfish Tikka, sourced from Scotland and cooked in the tandoor with pink peppercorns and chestnuts will make an appearance alongside some delicious Stropham & Hush Heath Estate wines.
