The Black Owned Business Exhibition (BOBExpo), a showcase for Black entrepreneurship, returns to Manchester for its fifth-anniversary celebration on Saturday 29th July 2023. The event, set to be hosted at the Manchester Suite, Manchester United Stadium, promises a shopping experience featuring over 100 Black-owned brands across a variety of business sectors.

Attendees will gain direct access to business owners, enabling them to discover and learn about a wide spectrum of products and services, all while supporting Black-owned businesses. The day will commence with a networking breakfast, providing a prime opportunity for business owners and entrepreneurs to connect. This will be followed by insightful business seminars designed to aid entrepreneurs in their business growth journey. Reflecting the exhibition’s wide-ranging appeal, a children’s activity day will also be included, along with an Afro hair and beauty lounge featuring top Black-owned hair and beauty brands.

Monique Kufuor, the founder of BOBExpo, shared her enthusiasm about the fifth anniversary, saying, “This year is extra special as it’s been five years showcasing Black businesses and the amazing, much-needed products and services they offer. So many connections and collaborations have happened for business owners through BOBExpo, and we look forward to more.”

BOBExpo is a strong advocate for supporting Black-owned businesses in order to build a robust community. By providing a platform for entrepreneurs to exhibit their offerings, connect with potential customers, and stimulate collaborations with other businesses, BOBExpo plays an integral role in enriching the local business landscape.

Access to the event is free, and attendees can secure their tickets by visiting the BOBExpo website.
