Take down that terrible ‘Live, Love, Laugh’ picture frame from off your wall and replace it with something interesting and thought provoking, with the chance to see thousands of pieces of art from one hundred exhibiting galleries and artists from all around the country, with over 3,000 original artworks being up for sale.

In the past, Buy Art Fair has sold millions of pounds of contemporary art including works by Damian Hirst, Tracy Emin and Grayson Perry – so although they may not have that painting of a half-naked woman with a tail, riding a Harley Davidson through the gates of hell that you wanted – they will likely have something better.

Launched in 2008, Buy Art Fair has had an exciting first ten years including a charity auction of Damian Hirst doodles, the development of The Manchester Contemporary and its collector programme, and live painting by artists such as Pure Evil.

Plans for this year include the second Masterpiece charity dinner at the Whitworth and the launch of the Buy Art Fair fringe, with affiliated events and initiatives spilling out across the whole city.

Tickets for the event are £5 in advance or on the door. For more information you can check out the Buy Art Fair website right here.
