Howl'oween at Hatch: An alternative Halloween party... for your dog

For the second year running, Hatch is bringing an alternative Halloween celebration to its fabulous dog-friendly space as they present Howl’oween! a Halloween party for Hounds.

Drag your furry friend to Hatch to party with other four-legged friends on Sunday 27th October between 12pm – 6pm.

Fancy dress is, of course, an essential part of every Halloween and why should dogs miss out on all the fun? Hatch is hosting its very own ‘Spooky Pooch’ competition (at 4pm) where the ‘Spookiest Best Dressed Pooch’ will be crowned.

The winner will get an overnight stay for two plus their ‘award winning’ dog at dog friendly neighbouring hotel, The Principal.

The Barkside
Manchester city centre’s only doggy day care centre that also offer a dog walking service, grooming and have a fab shop selling nutritious treats and cool accessories for your dog. Come and meet the team as their day care looks so much fun it may be the perfect place for your doggy to socialise for a few hours whilst you get stuff done in town.

Millie’s and Ruby’s Dog Bakery
Selling a range of handmade dog treats that are free from artificial additives, flavourings and colourings. Some of you may know them makers’ markets happening around the city and suburbs. With no sugars or salts, the treats are baked in such a way that no preservatives are used either. They use Rye flour in most recipes, which is wheat free and low in gluten. They even make personalised birthday cakes for your pampered pooches.

Ernie & Theo Dog Accessories
Another regular on the markets around Greater Manchester who will be popping up to showcase some of their most stylish dog accessories; from bandanas and striking leads to bow ties. The perfect accessories for any dog about town!

SWALK Creative
SWALK showcase local Manchester artists and creatives in their store in Afflecks will be on hand to host ‘Pumpkin doodling’ which will keep the kids entertained. If you are looking to don your walls with a portrait of your precious pooch, SWALK will also be showcasing their ‘pet portrait’ packages.

DJ’s will be playing throughout the day – to accompany the sounds of the excited pups who come out to play!

Howl’oween is free to attend, and doors will open at 12pm. The Spooky Pooch competition judging will be at 4pm.
