On Wednesday 9th September the Independent Manchester Beer Convention launches with a special taster event at Port Street Beer House, taking guests through all of the key elements to get excited about this year including food, music and, above all else, mighty fine beers.
Ahead of the October festival, the event will introduce 2015’s beer lineup with products from all sponsors on cask and keg, along with products from all breweries involved in this year’s collaboration series that have been created especially for the festival, which include a pretty radical seaweed number.
Indy Man Beer Con’s music and entertainment programme will be introduced at the event with a soundtrack from celebrated Manchester label Aficionado, whilst details of exciting new additions to 2015’s festival, such as talks from high profile speakers and a miniature canning line, will also be unveiled.
Chorlton’s award-winning independent deli Epicerie Ludo will be on hand with samples of the cheese and charcuterie that will be available at the festival, and the full food vendor lineup will also be disclosed to reveal favourite names from Manchester and beyond.
Brought to you by the team behind Common, Port Street Beer House and The Beagle, IMBC is inspired by the UK’s craft beer movement, but driven by a motive to offer an exciting and dynamic experience to customers in a modern, open-minded and inclusive setting. IMBC is a celebration of excellent beer to be enjoyed by all.
