During World Cup season make a full day of it by adding in a trip to ITV’s Fever Pitch fan site.
Tickets are free but you need to either book them through the website or queue up on the day to gain access.
A great family atmosphere with something for everyone; Bem Brasil provide the authentic Brazilian food, there’s live beach soccer games to entertain when the footie isn’t being shown on the huge screen, and when we went there was an amazing samba band and dancers to turn up the heat (even if it was a pretty cold Manchester afternoon).
My four year old loved the free face painting and World Cup mascot – she even got to make a sand castle in the parks beach area…not something you can often do in the City Centre!
England may be out of the World Cup but there’s no reason not to still get in the spirit and for a family day out with a difference this scores a treat.
