A Massive Manc Quiz with Loads of Prizes to be Won

On Wednesday 6th May we’re hosting a live ‘Massive Manc Quiz’ alongside our friends MODA on our Facebook account and Zoom.

Hits Radio presenter, DJ and creator of the Girls On Film night (which you all need to go to when things get back to normal by the way) Hattie Pearson will be steering the ship as our quiz master and she’ll be giving away a TONNE of prizes throughout.

Now, we need to mention straight away that unlike most quizzes, we won’t be giving prizes to the overall winner of the quiz (being conducted over the internet, it’s just too easy to cheat) – instead winning the quiz as a whole will be all about the kudos!

We will however be giving out over 20 prizes throughout the night for things like quickest correct answers and succeeding at tasks Hattie will be setting – plus a HUUUUGGGE bundle at the end.

There will be hotel stays, restaurant vouchers, gig tickets, art pieces and free food deliveries all up for grabs in our Massive Manc Quiz Zoom Room – Entry is £5 and all proceeds will go to the ‘Feed Our Heroes’ fundraiser.

Everybody can also join the quiz and play along for free on Facebook for the fun of it but only people in our Zoom Room can play for the prizes.

All entrants to the Zoom room will be asked to arrive in their ‘Best Manc Fancy Dress’ as the first prize will be given to whoever Hattie thinks has put in the best effort.

As you’ll probably assume by the name of the quiz, we’ll be covering all things Manchester – history, people, music, places and food! There will also be special guest questions from the likes of Clint Boon of Inspiral Carpets and Parklife/Warehouse Project owner Sacha Lord – offering out their own sets of exclusive prizes.

The quiz will start live at 7.30pm on Wednesday 6th May but everyone who wants to participate on Zoom for the stack of prizes will be asked to join from 7pm so we can get everyone nice and settled in!
