Footasylum and Vans have teamed up for the ultimate collectable kicks competition, using the world’s greatest skater sneak as the canvas for a city takeover like you’ve never seen before.
Taking on the biggest up-and-coming artists in Manchester, Birmingham and London, they asked six creative souls to customise a pair of Vans Old Skools using their city as the inspiration. From sidewalk themes to super-secret techniques, each pair of creps is one-of-a-kind and can’t be found anywhere else.
This April, one Footasylum store in each of the three cities will be giving two lucky winners a pair of our artists’ creations, with ten runners up at each store bagging a sack-full of Vans merch.
Get involved and show some love for your city to be in with the chance of getting your hands on a pair of unique sneaks that rep your hometown.
Keep it locked on the Footasylum social, and check #MyCityMyVans for more info.
How to get involved?
Do you know your city as well as our artists? Prove it in our #MyCityMyVans photohunt challenge!
On the date and times below #MyCityMyVans is taking place in your city!
When the event starts, we’ll be releasing picture clues on our social feeds of locations and landmarks near your Footasylum store. Your task is to find those locations, get to them as quickly as you can, and take a selfie in front of it. Then upload your pictures to your social feeds (Instagram, Twitter or Facebook) using #MyCityMyVans.
There are five photos you need to take in total. Once you’ve taken them all, get back to the store and show your feed to a member of staff to complete your challenge! The first two people to return to the store with all of the correct photos, uploaded to social with the correct hashtag on each, will win a pair of limited edition Vans Old Skool inspired by their city. The next ten people to rock up with completed photohunts will all get a Vans goodie bag.
3 cities. 3 days. One chance to win a one-of-a-kind pair of Vans kicks.
