THE awards ceremony of the year! Waking up this morning most news channels have been covering the fantastic success of Colin Firth within The Kings Speech. However for Princess Retail and many of Manchester's Finest ladies, awards are not on our minds! Instead words that I’m listening for don’t include, “the winner is”, “the award goes to” but rather “she was wearing”, “the designer was”. So bringing you the hottest and sassiest outfits of the evening is your little MF Fashionista. As a huge fan of couture and the hottest designer labels, this is definitely one of my favourite events! Anne Hathaway wowed the audience and fellow celebs with 8 outfit changes throughout the evening. As the glam girl next door, she certainly made a statement; adorning the hottest labels that would make any fashionista uber jealous. My own favourite saw Anne dressed in a customised Lanvin tuxedo; very Carrie Bradshaw @ the GBF’s wedding in Sex in the City 2. I shall definitely be scanning sites and stores in Manchester this week for a similar design! All eyes of course would be on Natalie Portman last night, with Black Swan being a main focus for the Oscars. NP looked gorgeously blooming; giving Holly Willoughby a run for her money as Yummy Mummy to be. Wearing a floor length, burgundy Rodanto dress which held her in all the right places and made her look stunning. Hailee Steinfield thoroughly took the Ballerina/Black Swan look to an uber sassy level in her Marchesa outfit. Think Disney Princess meets sparkly Ballerina and you have every young girls dream outfit! She even assisted in the design of the frockette! With Disney Princess on my mind I must mention the fabulous Amy Adams from Enchanted. She wowed the crowds not with her sexy, glittering, midnight blue dress; but her jewels. The gorgeous actress adorned almost £1 million pounds worth of jewellery! C’est Manifique! Who could miss the sexy Jennifer Lawrence?! She kept it simple wearing a Hot Red Calvin Klein number which created an ultra sexy look, that could only be compared to Jessica Rabbit. She may have lost out to NP for Black Swan but she will certainly be taking home MF’s award for “Hottest Finest Lady of the Oscars”. So a favourite needs to be picked, which has proved to be tricky this year. Most of the women I have to say certainly carry the titles of gorgeous, sassy, chic and mega fashionistas; which made this a much harder task. However I have narrowed it down and would say Halle Berry stole the show for me. Wearing another Marchesa design, the outfit was sexy, in a princess style covered in crystals and complimented her fantastically. Her skin was glowing, her figure fabulous and she carried off for me the Oh So Fine title. Congratulations Halle xxx
