It’s time for another jam packed weekend on the Manchester party scene. With so much going on I thought I’d let you know what I'll be checking out as there’s a couple of extra special events happening which you’ll be gutted to miss.
Children Of Zeus – Manchester Debut Album Launch w/ Special Guests @ Mint Lounge

If you haven’t heard about Children of Zeus, where have you been? the duo are one of the biggest things to come out of Manchester in recent years and are touching down at Mint Lounge on Friday courtesy of Hit & Run. It’s going to be your first chance to hear the album performed in full with all featured vocal artists making an appearance, such as DRS, Teri Walker, Layfullstop and KSR. Added to that DJ sets from Lenzam, Metrodome and Katbrownsugar, will be sure to be a special one.

LVL 38.1: “Reach For The Sky” Launch – Open Air Loft Party @ Hidden

Levelz are up to no good, no change there then, as they celebrate their latest release ‘Reach For The Sky.’ This will be the first outing in their hometown since the standout performance at Parklife which grabbed the attention of a number of high profile news outlets and further cemented them as Manchester Royalty. The night will also the one of the few times Hidden lifts the roof off their loft space for an open-air party that will ensure you get a breeze up your shorts, it’s gonna be sweaty.

The Peer Hat plays host to this new night which will be a refreshing change from some of the usual Northern Quarter hot spots. Expect Bashment, Dancehall, Afrobeat and all that type of stuff. Doors open at 10pm and it’s 3 quid all night. Get down and have a wine, or a beer. Eastern Bloc for “pree” drinks is the shout.
