Marathon day in Manchester. You can be as cynical as anything, but there’s no denying there’s a great atmosphere when the event come to town. Marathon Fan Zone at Circle Square
Circle Square is bringing back its free Manchester Marathon fan zone, with big screens showing the race live, a full day of entertainment, and plenty of food, drink and activities spread across the site. There’ll be activities like Bhangracise and a Pilates recovery area, as well as roaming performances and independent street food from the likes of North Bar, Meatworks, Detroit Slims and Hello Oriental. It’s a central spot to catch the finish line energy, whether you’re supporting runners or just soaking up the atmosphere.
Free drinks with a view at Chotto Matte
Anyone completing the Adidas Manchester Marathon can celebrate at Chotto Matte with a free drink after the race, with finishers able to claim either a pint of Manchester Union Lager or a glass of prosecco by showing their medal at reception. Running from 12pm until 6pm, it’s a simple but smart post-race offer, giving runners the chance to properly unwind, catch up with friends and take in the view after 26.2 hard-earned miles.
Free pints at The Grosvenor afterparty
The Grosvenor is throwing an unofficial Manchester Marathon after party, with free pints of BrewDog Cold Beer for runners who show their medal and free samples of the brand-new Jagermeister Orange landing on the same day. Just moments from the finish line, it is shaping up to be a lively spot for finishers, supporters and spectators to carry on the celebrations.
Skip the finish line queues at Vanoffee
The Vanoffee roaming coffee van is simplifying the finish line experience on Marathon day, with pre-orders now open for canned matcha, coffee, and a full line-up of baked goods including stuffed cookies, brownies and Baby Mayhem doughnuts. Pick your drink, choose your extras, and sort it all in advance so you can skip the queues and stay fuelled whether you’re running or cheering from the sidelines.
Free pints and mocktails at Motley
Anyone finishing the Manchester Marathon can claim a free pint of Motley Brew by showing their medal at the bar, with alcohol-free Nojitos on offer too for those keeping things a bit cleaner. The offer is valid on 19 April 2026 only with one drink per person. Simply show your medal to show you took part in the Manchester Marathon.
20% off at Bundobust
Manchester Marathon finishers can bag 20% off food and drink at this Indian street food and craft beer favourite, making it a very strong option for a post-race feast. The offer is valid on 19 April 2026 only and applies to you and your group, you must show your finishers medal to redeem.
Free steak at Gaucho
Anyone finishing the Manchester Marathon can head to Gaucho and swap their medal for a free steak, choosing from sirloin, ribeye or fillet. The offer runs from event day until 29 April, giving runners a very decent excuse to celebrate properly after crossing the line.
Free veggie or chicken roll for Marathon finishers
South African soul food spot Saffa Soul is looking after Manchester Marathon finishers with a proper post-run freebie on Sunday 19 April. The team specialises in authentic South African cooking, with recipes passed down through three generations, from Huggy’s grandmothers to his mum, and now to him. Anyone who crosses the line can head over and claim a free chicken or veggie roll, as long as they show their finisher’s medal. Find them located inside The Taphouse on Circle Square, where there’s loads of other things going on to celebrate the day in question.
Free beer at Dishoom for Marathon finishers
Dishoom is giving Manchester Marathon finishers a free 330ml Kingfisher or Kingfisher Zero on Sunday 19 April, as long as you show your medal and sit in to redeem it. A nice little post-run bonus from the Bombay-inspired café, especially if a cold beer is top of your recovery plan.
Free pizza slices with your pint for Marathon finishers
Manchester Marathon finishers can head to YES for a free slice of pizza with every pint on Sunday 19 April, making it a very solid shout for a post-race pit stop. Offer is valid 19 April 2026 only and you must show your finishers medal.
