Our Kids Social (OKS), pioneers of family events providing ‘a knees up with your nippers’ in Manchester’s most iconic venues, has launched a programme of lunch and supper clubs, where fantastic food is paired with their infamous interactive family silent disco.
Silent Beats and Tasty Eats is popping up in three locations; Rocket and Orange in Altrincham on 23rd March and 27th April, Albert’s in Worsley in May half term and Yard and Coop in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on 5th April.
The Our Kids Social Silent Disco is the only one of its kind 100% designed for families, and the lunch and supper club events also add a combination of fancy dress up and family photo-frame, dancefloor props, inflatables and face-painters to the line-up. The OKS festival wrist-band art and Madchester collaborative murals will add further crafty fun.
Families and groups of friends can buy tickets to reserve their space and can expect quality food, complementary fizz for the adults and special menus for children. Plus music that is bound to get you up and dancing!
Alice Giles, co-founder of Our Kids Social commented, “OKS Friday night Supper Clubs and holiday Lunch Clubs are designed to allow adults and kids alike to socialise with family and friends and centre around great food, fab tunes and good old-fashioned fun. We think most Manchester families fancy a change during the holidays, so this is your chance to let the kids throw their hands up at the silent disco, whilst the adults let their hair down over a relaxed meal.
“Sitting down together, talking, laughing and dancing - bringing your families and our communities closer is what OKS was founded to bring about. Silent Beats and Tasty Treats is just about relaxed, light-hearted family entertainment, and we’re hoping for some mealtimes to remember and some dance moves that won’t be forgotten in a hurry!”
