What: The Soldier’s Song is a powerful video installation made with and about currently serving soldiers.

The installation takes the form of a walk-in karaoke video booth that offers the chance to duet with a currently serving soldier. By inviting the visitor to duet with the soldiers, this quietly provocative work challenges our preconceptions and asks us to consider our connection with an individual who might fight in our name.

Presented by Salford’s Quarantine theatre company, the Soldier’s Song will present a stripped down version of the shows seen at London’s Barbican and Manchester’s Art Gallery as they showcase the installation in preparation for international touring. For more information visit www.qtine.com
