Mumford & Sons were on this list. But then they cancelled their gig. There’s still this lot though…
The Four Tops & The Temptations @ Manchester Arena
Tuesday 20th November
One the greatest groups of all time, The Four Tops are responsible for an absolute ton of bangers including Reach (I’ll Be There), Standing in the Shadows of Love and a personal favourite – Loco in Acapulco. The Temptations are mint too. They’ll both be going loco this week at Manchester Arena and it would be a shame to miss it.
Starsailor @ O2 Ritz
Tuesday 20th November
Hitting our airwaves around 2001, Starsailor have been banging out the brit-pop-rock tunes for 17 years now, so you’d think they’d be pretty good at it by now. They’ll be hitting up the Ritz this Tuesday and there’s still a few tickets knocking about.
Children of Zeus @ Band On The Wall
Friday 23rd November
Having released their debut album Travel Light to critical acclaim, Manchester duo Children Of Zeus announced a nine-date UK tour, with them turning up at Band on the Wall this Friday. This one will be fucking brilliant.
Hudson Taylor @ Club Academy
Friday 23rd November
These two Irish lads have been on the Irish folk scene for a few years now and seemingly never stop touring. Ever. They might be tired but I’m sure they’ll have a few Berocca before heading up on stage at the Academy this Friday. Special guest will be their mate Orla Gartland.
Miles Kane @ Manchester Academy
Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th November
Brother of Russell and Uncle to that wrestler, Miles Kane has managed to take those good genes and forge himself a rather impressive musical career out of it. If you like guitars and skinny jeans and all that – this gig at Manchester Academy should be right up your street.
