Manchester tech house doyens Solardo (aka James Elliot and Mark Richards) have been busy continuing the city’s rich heritage in house music for a minute now, and this Christmas they’ve decided they want to bring the rave to you.
Crowned DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Act of 2016 and Best Duo of 2017, the pair have had another amazing year. 2018 saw them selling out shows left and right: both across Europe as part of their second Solardo Sessions tour, and closer to home with the launch of their brand new event series HIGHER - which saw eager fans packing out both the Warehouse Project at Store Street and Studio 338 in London.
Next year sees them head out on a world tour - with dates in the US, France, Austria, Malta, Croatia, Australia, the Netherlands, Mexico, the UK and Spain.
Play your cards right, and they could well be adding your address to the list too - because To celebrate the festive season, the guys have been busy planning the ultimate Christmas party.
Armed with decks, a sound system, lasers, and cannons; the guys have got it all covered. They’ve even partnered with Jagermeister to help supply you with some cocktails to help get the party started - not too shabby eh?
All they need now is a venue- which is where you come in.
To be in with a chance of winning, there are a few T&Cs. You have to be 18 or over, know how to throw a decent party, live in the UK, have a gaff with room for a lot of your mates - oh, and it probably should go without saying but you can’t charge entry (come on, don’t be tight).
To enter all you need to do is subscribe via the link below and fill in a few details about where you’d be throwing the party. They did this a couple of years ago - and it went absolutely mad- honestly, this is set to be the party of the century.
Winners will be picked on December 14th, and come Thursday 20th they’ll be throwing one lucky winner the ultimate pre-Crimbo tear up.
