Celebrating the 40th anniversary of independence for Caribbean Island Grenada Manchester Carnival brought Calypso and African music to Platt Fields Park.
Saturday was an amazing day, with typical Mancunian spirit battling the initially inclement weather which gave way to lovely sunshine toward the end of the afternoon, and a packed Platt Field Park partying away at the Red Bull Music Academy Sound System Stage to DJ Hype, local boys Murkage, Ellijah and Skilliam and many more.
