Ahead of their highly anticipated UK tour, Letters To Fiesta are welcomed to the Bench Self Made Gallery for the next Lunch Time Live on Saturday 20th April.
Following Brown Brogues’ packed out garage-rock gig in March, Letters To Fiesta bring something different to the gallery with an acoustic version of their eclectic, post-punk style.
Letters To Fiesta started 2013 with new sounds and a new line up. The Manchester based band have been tipped as the city’s greatest new pop force, having just released their first single Mesosphere to a sold out show at The Castle Hotel.
The band, made up of Anna-Louisa Etherington (vocals), Tom Brydon (guitar), Andy Fletcher (bass) and Daniel Houghton (drums), take influence from genres from Radiohead to Kate Bush. They have been described as “post-punk, Alt, electronic and pop…. using soundscapes and atmosphere to create their own unique sound.” The ephemeral voice of Anna-Louisa gives this band a mysterious style.
This year is set to be a big one for Letters To Fiesta starting with their UK tour in May, including dates in Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester.
