6 years going strong, Hoya:Hoya has cemented itself as a major contributor the Manchester scene. Releasing their own records and hosting nights at Fabric are just a few of the achievements their rivals can bitch about. This weekend sees the crew return to the Roadhouse on Saturday night to celebrate the release of resident Illum Sphere’s Fabric Live mix, another high profile addition to the ever expanding Hoya:Hoya CV.

Soul:ution
One of the most respected sounds in DnB and up there with some of Manchester’s most important exports, Soul:ution has been showcasing the deeper side of Drum n Bass since I were a nipper. With A list guests month in month out the night has become a hub for the Manchester DnB community. This month’s event showcases the launch of MC DRS’s new single The Puppeteer and with sets from Jubei, Marcus Intalex and Bane it looks set to be a slammer. Get down to Band On The Wall on Friday and see for yourselves.

More Bounce Present Afrika Bambaataa + Special Guests

More Bounce crew bring legend Afrika Bambaataa to The Roadhouse on Friday night. As well as their main headliner, very special guests DJ Woody and Scorzayzee will be on hand to keep the party rocking as they celebrate 40 years of hip hop. This one promises to bring the vibes associated with hip hop’s old skool roots and is definitely the place to be if you want a good old fashioned boogie.

This will be your last chance to catch Riot Jazz Brass Band at Antwerp Mansion until March next year so there’s no excuses not to get down on Saturday night. Expect a totally different experience from your average club night as the funk, soul, hip hop and jazz boxes all get ticked. Resident DJs Rich Reason and Coops also keep up appearances as well as special guest host Chimpo.

Soup Kitchen on Friday sees Rhythm Theory bring Jonas Kopp to Manchester for an anything goes eclectic mix of house and techno. After releasing his album on the Tresor record label it’s a rare treat to catch Jonas in Manchester and a must see for any true techno head.
