Heres wheres its at 21/22nd November and the words SOLD OUT seem to be flying around quite a lot. A massive weekend for music in Manchester.

This weekend sees a Drum n Bass lineup that the city can be proud of as Relapse bring three of the genre’s biggest names to Mancunia. A rare performance from DnB icon Ed Rush is usually enough to get any junglist excited, but add Icicle and Break to the mix and you have all the ingredients of a certified mash up. With all three headliners booked in for extended 90 minutes sets expect quality from start to finish over two floors at Sound Control. As you would expect tickets will be in short supply come Saturday so grab em whilst you can.

2.Jamz – Newham Generals + Ellijah and Skilliam
This one sold out of advance tickets a while ago and it’s no surprise with the line up. It’s going to be a sweaty squeeze in Soup Kitchen come Saturday night as D Double E and crew get grim and grimey. Another fantastic line up and with very limited tickets on the door early arrival is essential if you want to be in with any chance of catching the show.

3.Community & So Flute Present- Motor City Drum Ensemble (M.C.D.E)
Danilo Plessow aka Motor City Drum Ensemble reaches for The Roadhouse for another completely sold out Saturday selection. After appearances at The Warehouse Project this looks set to be a far more intimate and all round special event as he delves into all things house and disco. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for ticket news

4.Dub Smugglers Sound System presents YT & Dub Stuy
All the way live from New York City, Dub Stuy brings irie East Coast reggae and dub vibes to Antwerp mansion on Friday night courtesy of The Dub Smugglers. One of the front runners in the UK Sound System scene, the Smugglers know how to put on a party and with their full crew in attendance the Mansion’s foundations will be getting a very worrying wobble.

5.Drop the Mustard presents: Detroit Swindle (4 hours) + XXXY (extended set) + Frits Wentink
I dont think I have ever stood up for more than 4 hours never mind DJd that long. That’s what is in store for Dutch house duo Detroit Swindle on Saturday as Sankeys plays host to Drop The Mustard. Also including an extended set from XXXY showcasing UK Garage and footwork, looks like it’s going to be a lively one. Tickets are still available and can be found at the link the below
