Guilty Pleasures reaches Top 5 compilation chart success

Imagine there was a place where you could dance your socks off unashamedly to the kind of music that is usually confined to the privacy of your bedroom…but in public with other like-minded folk. Welcome to Guilty Pleasures, the spiritual home for pop fans to congregate without judgement for a no-holds-barred celebration of everything pop.

The concept of indulging yourself in a secret and possible shameful pastime is one that has universal appeal. Already an institution at KOKO in London, Guilty Pleasures took up residency at Manchester’s Deaf Institute over 2 years ago and hasn’t looked back. Held on the first Saturday of every month it is regularly bursting at the seams with pop-worshipping revellers, but the phenomenon doesn’t stop there…

Guilty Pleasures has recently released a double compilation album on Ministry Of Sound which promptly soared into the Number 3 position of the compilation charts. No motivation at the gym? Can’t face doing the dishes? Or maybe you need that enchanting mix of music for a party at home? Featuring tracks by Wham!, Bonnie Tyler, Boy Meets Girl, Foreigner and other gems, ‘Guilty Pleasures – The Album’ is a remedy that can cure all and get your feet moving at the same time!

Ever since its inception in 2004 on Sean Rowley’s BBC Radio show, Guilty Pleasures has gone from strength to strength, culminating in monthly residencies around the country and the world, hosting tents and stages at festivals, presenting a glorious and infectious celebration of the dazzling world of pop. It’s even made it as an X Factor themed show on the last series.

We have a copy of ‘Guilty Pleasures – The Album’ on CD and a pair of tickets to the next Manchester party on Saturday 4th June to giveaway. Simply get in-touch, leave a comment or tweet this post and a winner will be randomly selected.
