Hotly tipped Manchester band The Quangos treated a packed out Bench Self Made Gallery to the first Lunch Time Live of 2013 on Saturday.
Described by The Times newspaper as ‘Manchester’s rising star’ The Quangos played the Saturday afternoon acoustic set to a full house at the Bench Self Made Gallery as a warm up to treat fans ahead of their first big Academy 3 gig this Saturday 9th February.
The band said:
“We are firmly behind the Bench Self Made concept and it was a pleasure getting involved. We believe that with practice and dedication you can be the best and its great to see Bench picking up on this offering support to up and coming talents.”
Lunch Time Live is a series of free lunchtime gigs featuring Manchester’s up and coming talent performing acoustic sets and The Quangos followed 2012 performances from Jessie Rose, Frazer King, Dirty North and The Naughtys.
