Taking place on Thursday 22nd November, The Refuge are proudly presenting a special preview event in The Den; Trevor Johnson's Haçienda Pop-Up artwork shop.
Salford born, Trevor Johnson has been proudly responsible for creating some of Manchester’s most iconic graphic design for over four decades.
The event will feature eight design printed posters, limited signed prints, greeting cards, and exclusive pieces available only on the night.
All funds raised will go to Forever Manchester, the only charity that raises money to fund and support a huge range of activities in Greater Manchester that help young people, older people and disabled people, as well as homelessness, sport, environmental, education and cancer support projects.
Amongst his portfolio, Trevor created the iconic imagery for nights such as Hot, Nude, Flesh, Void and many more that were central to The Haçienda’s visual profile. DJ’s include Mike Pickering, Graeme Park, Kath McDermott, Laurent Garnier, Martin Prendergast.
Along with two of The Refuge’s favourites – Justin Robertson and Paulette. Justin held a residency at Shiva and Paulette at Flesh, both will be DJing on the night in the public bar, with support from Hacienda regular John McCready.
