Seven week Design & Illustration exhibition entitled ‘7’ at NOrth Tea power in Manchester northern Quarter

This week in North Tea Power we will see the launch of a seven week Design & Illustration exhibition entitled ‘7’ in Manchester featuring work by some of the most interesting and innovative creatives from around the world in limited editions of seven.The work is curated by Manchester based Design studio Dr.Me (www.dr-me.com) and Artist Aliyah Hussain (www.aliyahhussain.co.uk) in the beautiful Norse inspired surroundings of ‘North Tea Power’ in the cities North Quarter.

The work featuring in the show will be by Anthony Burrill, Doctor Xero, a non-collaboration between Stefan Sagmeister and Dr.Me, Holly Wales, Hort, Hvass & Hannibal, Mario Hugo, James Victore, Leif Podhajsky, MVM, Neasden Control Centre, Nicolas Saunders, Nous Vous, Savwo, Siggi Eggertsson, Steve Hockett and Yokoland.

The work will be a mixture of brand new editions of seven pieces created especially for the show and existing editions of work sent through in editions of seven.

The exhibition is to celebrate the launch of the online store also going by the name 7 (www.ashopcalled7.co.uk) which will be open for seven months where the work will be available to buy from as well as other zines and prints created by the likes of WAFA, Mike Perry, OWT collective, Melvin Galapon, Butt Magazine and many more.
