Manchester’s boutique cupcakery Hey Little Cupcake! has joined forces with international luxury chocolatiers Hotel Chocolat

Manchester’s boutique cupcakery Hey Little Cupcake! has joined forces with international luxury chocolatiers Hotel Chocolat to create a limited edition collection.

To celebrate National Chocolate Week, which runs from October 8th-14th, Hey Little Cupcake! has merged Hotel Chocolat’s unique flavours with its distinctive cupcakes to create seven new mouth-watering flavours, including a luxurious salted Caramel Whoopee Pie and Wham Bam Choc Slab.

Hotel Chocolat prides itself on providing ‘deeply authentic chocolate with a witty, fashionable edge’ and has always set the bar high in terms of innovation within their chocolate ranges. This is the first time Hotel Chocolat has collaborated with a cupcakery and the collection will only be available for a limited time period.

Sarah Wilson, owner of Hey Little Cupcake!, said; “We are delighted that Hotel Chocolat has agreed to partner Hey Little Cupcake! during National Chocolate Week. We have spent a great deal of time preparing recipes that make the most of both the chocolate and the cupcake, and believe that chocolate lovers are in for a real treat!”

The collaboration features a variety of lavish chocolate fusions which are available in Hey Little Cupcake! from October 8th – November 25th. The collection includes:

Nibbly Praline
A light hazelnut milk chocolate sponge filled with our handmade praline nut filling, topped with a swirl of hazelnut buttercream and hazelnut decoration.
Cherry Deluxe
Almond sponge with a baked Hotel Chocolat Kirsch Cherry, topped with dark chocolate buttercream and milk chocolate ganache.
Dark 85%
Rich dark chocolate sponge and buttercream with an 85% Dark Hotel Chocolat ganache filling and drizzle.
Milk Truffle
Light moist chocolate sponge with a 40% Milk Hotel Chocolat filling and topped with milk chocolate buttercream and sprinkles.
Wham Bam Choc Slab
Triple chocolate layered sponge topped with a swirl of white, milk and dark buttercream.
Salted Caramel Whoopie Pie
Dark chocolate sponge sandwich with salted caramel buttercream and caramel drizzle.
Caramel Cheesecake
Soft caramel sponge with a caramel and sour cream filling topped with milk chocolate cream cheese and caramel sprinkles.
