Last night, The Ivy Spinningfields celebrated the easing of restrictions with its very own Come Together Party – an incredible spectacle to thank the people of Manchester for their support throughout the pandemic.

Guests were welcomed by drummers, trumpeters and fire performers, whilst celebrity appearances included The Blossoms’ frontman Tom Ogden, singer songwriter Max George with Stacey Giggs, Coronation Street’s Faye Brookes, Alan Halsall with former co-star Tisha Merry, Hollyoaks’ David Tag and Katie McGlynn, Rachel Lugo from Housewives of Cheshire, socialite Darby Ward, plus TV presenter Jenny Powell and TV chef Simon Rimmer.

Set across all four fabulous floors, the evening saw each part of the restaurant transport guests to an alternative fantasy wonderland. The Brasserie was transformed into a mystical utopia with unicorn and genie dancers, roller skating cheerleaders and sounds from a Flintstone DJ live band. Attendees were treated to canapés and free-flowing drinks including Welcome to the Jungle and Pink Flamingo cocktails in keeping with the theme.

The glamourous Ivy Asia was blooming with Japanese and Harajuku inspired dancers as well as a Ninja band and break dancers, while the Roof Garden was brought alive with incredible music from saxophonists and percussionists, lit up with mirror and LED dancers and hula hoopers.

Guests could indulge in Enter the Dragon – a mix of Roku Gin, lychee and soda – and Kung Fu International cocktails – Haku Vodka, lime and yuzu soda – in The Ivy Asia and drinks by Bacardi on the Roof Garden – Lady Stardust, made with Bombay Bramble, and Diamonds in the Sky, made with Bacardi Carta Blanca.
