After years of viral brookie fame, market stall sell-outs and Wilmslow success, Buzzy Bee has officially landed in the city. Nestled in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, the second site from sisters Millie and Lydia brings all the signature treats fans love, wrapped in a light, calming space that’s worlds away from your average pink-splashed dessert bar.
It’s still all about the bakes here. That means gooey brownie-cookie hybrids stuffed with chocolate and joy, old-school banana bread, rich cupcakes and creamy cheesecakes in flavours like Biscoff, pistachio and Kinder. It also means fresh bakes every day, crafted with love and serious pastry know-how, thanks to Millie’s background as a professionally trained chef and years working in kitchens across London, Australia and back home in Cheshire.
The new Church Street store is a fresh chapter for the Buzzy Bee brand. Inside, you’ll find white tiled walls, soft neutral tones and a neon yellow bee – plus a counter groaning with cake and an ice cream station just waiting for your scoop of choice.
Like Wilmslow before it, this Northern Quarter gem is all about comfort, quality and community. From viral brookies to one-off specials and new weekend additions, Buzzy Bee proves that great bakes never go out of style – and the best ones come with a story.
